Hi I'm Danielle! A simple and pretty bog standard kind of girl from London, England! In London it's a really diverse place to live and you meet people from all walks of life especially if you're living in one of the little towns on the outskirts like me. However, that does not mean that prejudice and animosity towards people of different race, culture and religion does not exist. These small minded people that exercise such prejudice and animosity have no desire to look beyond their own front door to see the wonder of different places nor do they understand the troubles that their fellow humans may have faced in their native countries which resulted in the rich diversity that is London town. To them foreigners are just others, a them, a "not us". Well guess what? I'm about to become a foreigner, a foreigner in a lot of different countries and I'm willing to bet that I don't meet the kind of horrors that some people face in my native country. So this is for you, the people that don't get a chance to step beyond your own front door mat, and for those who are unwilling to do so, to see the wonderful variety of neighbours that you have in this world and hopefully you might learn what it means to be a part of humankind.
